You’re getting the error messages because you have to tell the MXM materials where you are storing the jpgs or image files it's looking for. Who ever created the original material had them located on their computer or network and the location they stored them in isn't the same as the location you are storing them in.

hi maxer..

iam still getting the same error mssg's......

i have assigned the paths as we do normally for jpeg's and other's....

customize menu, configure paths and addding paths in tht.

but stil i am getting the error mssgs and its not rendering...

is there any other particular way for assigning mxm paths to avoid these error mssg and the image to get rendered..???

hi...maxer....thanks a lot for the feedback..could u plz clear these doubts....

as u said...wat do u mean is we need to change the image path in material editor...right..??? the slot where we apply bitmaps to the goemetry in max scene....plz confirm

1) is rendering the image gives the same output in max using maxwel and in maxwel studio...? coz iam lot more familiar with max than rendering in maxwel studio.....or wat is the difference rendering a image in max using maxwel and maxwel studio.....???

2) are rpc's not compatible with maxwell...?? they doesnt render in maxwel...is there any procedure to change rpc's so tht they render in maxwel...

3) maxwel creates very outstanding images......how can we get rid of noise in maxwel images....??? noise is damaging the whole quality of the iamges....

plz adivse...

best

Yes

Yes you should get the same image out of Max or Studio because they are both using the same render engine to render out the scene.

2) are rpc's not compatible with maxwell...?? they doesnt render in maxwel...is there any procedure to change rpc's so tht they render in maxwel........???

RPC's aren't compatable with Maxwell, there is no way you can get them to work.

3) maxwel creates very outstanding images......how can we get rid of noise in maxwel images....??? noise is damaging the whole quality of the iamges.........???

There are only two ways to reduce the noise, one is to let it render until the noise level is acceptable to you which has been known to take days. The second way is to use a noise filtering program like Neat Image. It's also a good idea to keep your emitter geometry as small as possable, the more complex the emitters are the more noise they will produce.
