phrEEk
Hello all, i am quite a beginner with Vray, i'm rendering an animation, and i'm having troubles finding where these ugly artefacts come from : they appear during the last prepasses i'm using irradiance map & light cache, here are my settings : i'm using a vray light with skylight portal and store with irradiance map checked, 10 subdivs, and a max target directional set to vrayshadow it would be great if you could help me thank you very much Alex
hussein
hi alex .. i think you have to change the mode in the irrmap to single if it an animation as i c .. not a walkthrough animation ...so it will calculate each frame .& it will solve ur problem sa7amelo
moodo
perhaps, look again at the geometry in your scene. sometimes somthing is not perfect with some faces. otherwise you can view your irr map with the irr viewer and locate the wrong part of your calculation. then you can go in you scene and render one frame or more and merge the right irr map in your precalculated irr solution.
