mzex
What do you think: will it be good for CAD? CAD softwares like ArchiCAD and AutoCAD or maybe Revit. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mice_pointers/mice/devices/3443&cl=us,en
JamesTaylor
looks pretty cool! I'd have thought, as with most things like this, it won't be as user friendly or reliable as a mouse when it comes to working with high end stuff like 3d etc.... but i could be wrong! mzex
hi there!! i guess this new one for logitech is specifically designed for PC-based entertainment not for CAD or its equivalent neither for 3D applications... logitech quotes: "The MX Air™ mouse is the perfect complement to your PC-based entertainment experience." hope this may guide you in search for a more reliable mice for your own personal use... I know what they have written there, but since I expirience some pain in my hand when draw a lot what is elementary part of my job (architect) I am trying to find some alternative to classic mouse. Any recommendations?
BrianKitts
I am trying to find some alternative to classic mouse. Any recommendations? I went through a trackball phase in college.... four years in the university drumline was already giving me carpel tunnel in the wrist, working with a mouse all day didn't help. I've abandoned the trackball and gone back to the mouse, but we also have 9x12 pen tablets to work on which works great if the wrist tightens up. The guy next to me only uses his tablet, and hardly touches the mouse. Both of them are great alternatives to the mouse.... but the trackball is like sushi you either love it, or can't stand it and the tablet is a small investemt but from what I've seen most people love it once they get used to it. as for the air mouse.... I can see a market for wii style games using the airmouse, possibly some tension releasing games where you get to beat up on your boss or clients to relieve stress!!
