harryhood
Here's an image I'm working on. I have a question though, the painting I found online, and I was wondering if I need to or if I should try to contact the artist for permission to use this in my portfolio? I can't find any way to contact them however, can't find a homepage or anything. Anyway, this is still a work in progress so if you have any comments I'm all ears. Thanks. Exellite
its looking alright, the scale seems off to me though. regards to the image, if you use it comercially you need permission unless it was specified that its royalty free. Although if its part of your personal portfolio the chances of the artist seeing it is very unlikely so I wouldnt worry about it
harryhood
its looking alright, the scale seems off to me though. How off? Could you be a little more specific? Thanks.
Exellite
its about 9 courses up to ur window cill which is about 675mm. the sofas have fairly high backs, they will be alot higher than 675. That back wall is about 29 courses up to the beam, thats 2.175 roughly, which is a faily low ceiling yet ur furniture makes it look very tall. Model to scale from skratch and you wont have these problems, either that or your brick material needs scaling down to increase the courses. harryhood
Ok thanks. The modeling is all to scale, so I'll have to work on the texture and scale the bricks down. Thanks for pointing that out.
