nilariver@gmail.com
My commercial complex building approximately having 1.5 lakh polygon, when i render in v ray with out refletion it is taking hardly 10 minutes, but as soon as i applied reflection to glass it kills lot of time. Can any body suggest any solution why it is happening ? How i can come out this problem ?
andreg
my guess would be to switch the max depth of your glass material to something like 3 which is 5 by default and maybe use interpolation for your refraction. It might just help a little bit with rendertimes Let us know how it turns out?
Joseph Petrino
Sounds like you might be using glossy in your reflections. They look great but are killers at render time. If so, try "Interpolated glossies" they are a lot faster.
