Chad Warner
Using Max 9. When I merge materials from a MAX file into the current file, there's a good chance that I'm going to get the light (whether it's a direct light or a Vray light, it doesn't matter) merged into the scene as well. Is anyone else having this problem? -Chad
mr. a
Are you refering to merging objects and not materials? Merging materials don't bring in objects of any kind as you are doing that through the material editor. When merging objects, uncheck lights (or whatever category you eant to exclude) to ensure that they do not come in with the objects selected by name. Hope this helps. Chad Warner
Nope, merging materials through the material editor. I know it's not supposed to work that way, but that's the problem I'm having. I've had to delete a good 12 lights this morning.
