KristopherLee
Hi. I have a project where I need to save the reflection channel from Vray so that the client can turn on and off the reflections in photoshop. I can get it where the Vray Buffer shows the RGB, Alpha and Reflection in the drop down box, but when I save the image out, the reflection channel doesn't show up in PS. Any ideas on how to get this to work? I'm using Max 9 and Vray 1.53 Thanks >L ____________ http://www.kristopherlee.com
KristopherLee
Is it even possible? >L
Tommy L
Yes. But if youre strruggling with the buffer, why not just render it twice, one with reflections turned on one with reflections turned off?
BrianKitts
My guess is you are trying to save out one file and expecting to see it show up in your channels list in PS and it doesn't work that way easiest way is to use the render elements dialog to save out your channels it will write out a seperate file for each of the channels you tell it to. KristopherLee
Yeah both are correct. I'm just going to do it separately, one with reflections, one not. Thanks for the info. >L
