THEPRAYINGMANTIS
Hi all, Attached is a test render of a Banquet Hall Interior that I'm working on for a client. As you can see, it needs alot of work. Believe it or not this took 10 1/2hrs to render st 640X480!!! The settings are not particularly high; Irradiance- medium /Light 30 hsh. phys cam/ vray sun/sky. The columns and the tables are instanced vrayproxies. I'm going for realism but it's not workout. The wood material looks very flat. There's noise on the ceiling that I can'T seem to get rid of. The vray plane lights within the ceiling perimeter mouldings don't seem to have any effect. The intent is to illuminate the interior of the ceiling but it doesn't seem to have any effect except for increasing render times. Any help is greatly appreciated. PS I tried to add a cam modifier to correct it but I doesn't work phy. cams for some reason.
slinley
The Vray Physical Camera has its own camera correction in its settings under vertical shift.
