proces2
I use multi-level noise mapping alot in my models. i am having a problem though with the mapping of it when it is assigned to an object that has been created as a mirror of another object. when mirroring an object, the noise map gets mirrored as well and i DON'T want the map to be mirrored with the object. i can't find any way to reset the mapping so that it acts as it should. i posted a basic mock-up of what happens. sean

siliconbauhaus
when you mirror it....is it a instance or a copy? you should be able to spin your UVW if its a copy. hope it helps
Patten
use the reset xform and collapse it. You then have a mirrored object with resetted mapcoordanates.
proces2
Thanks. I also found that changing the noise map itself from 'Object UVW' to 'World UVW' fixes the problem.
