chortik666
Hi there, I have to render something like melted candle wax or dripping tar. Does anyone have a clue from witch point I should start to create proper geometry? Just using MELT modifier gives me an object what looks like some kind of pancake and that is it. But I need to create a geometry-dependent liquid like substance. Something I attached to this thread below... (I use 3d Max)
schmoron13
you could use one of the plugins for max. I did some tests with Glu3D (http://3daliens.com/glu3D/index.htm) and you could readily get that kind of effect. it just creates huge poly counts, so beware, rendering will be a nightmare.
