erickdt
Is there any way to make it so Windows XP 32 bit can utilize more than 1G of RAM. My understanding is that this version of Windows can only use 1G of RAM. Is this in fact the case?
BrianKitts
.... it's a 2G maximum under 32bit..... unless you use the 3gig switch. check out this thread... http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/15719-3-gig-switch.html
PAWUK
Just asked our tech guys to make sure that the 3gig switch is activated on a couple of 32bit windows xp pro pc's for the studio. They came back with ' service pack 2 fixed the issue with ram' . (doesnt seem likely or someone here would have suggested it) Never used the switch before just going by what Ive read here, are we been fobbed off.
