Sketchup -Pipes - New - I say hello

I would like a component collection of pipes for drawing in 3D with Sketchup 6 pro.

Did you look at the component libraries you can download from the Sketchup web site? The HVAC collection has some stuff like that. Also, for all your Skp model needs, I'd refer you to Google 3D Warehouse.

I have difficulties working with the components to make them connect. I've tried put together elbows, valves, pipes and it's difficult for me.

Where can i find a tutorial ?

Or can you show me in simple word the way i must follow ?

Hi,

 

today I joined the forum – a good chance to say „Hello“ to everybody. I am engineer, working for Fab start-up projects in the semiconductor industry (shk dot com)

 

Since I found SketchUp some years ago the way how to express concepts and space management ideas has changed significant. SketchUp is a great tool. Once you need to generate pipeline models it get bit more difficult.

 

I had the same problems then described in this thread and so a solution had to be developed: With the 3skeng plugin the generation of pipes makes a lot of fun and is really fast!
