boncerouge
it might be cheating a bit - but check out http://www.vray-materials.de - you can download the materials free - you don't have to use a brushed aluminum texture off there - but you can compare yours to what's there! BrianKitts
Hi all Reflection Gloss. under 0,75 seems unreal..... why does it have to be "real"?..... all it needs to do is to look right. I checked the material I use for brushed alum. and it's down @ 6 w/ a brushed bump map to break it up even more.
Joseph Petrino
I've had luck with setting the BRDF to "ward" using a scratch map in the reflection slot setting refl glossy to .9 with "use interpolation" checked. Sometimes I set the Fresnel IOR very low 1 or 2 also. Hope that helps.
