chadc
I worked on modeling the lighting for this stadium back in 2002. It looks alot like one of the early models done by HOK sport. Nice work!

Goady
I am using Max 9 with the daylight system. I am also using alot of renderable splines for the structure of the roof. It really speeds things up in max and allows for cylindrical or rectangular shapes. Very easy to manipulate. Building this stadium reminds me very much of the type of work I did on EA's FIFA product. If you are interested in Games work you will probably find it very similar to your architectural job. We hired a couple of people from the architectural industry on the FIFA team for building the stadiums back in 2002.

Koper
aloooot of detail!! extremely good but i'd like to see it in its natural habitat, maybe you can do some photo composite? i think that would be a beter lighting challenge for you
alias_marks
Hey there, things are coming along pretty well. The detail is tremendous and so much of it is being hidden by such dark shadows in the second image. Let those details shine baby! I would lighten them quite a bit and add a bluish/purple tint - see the quick photoshop work I did below It would definitely be nice to get this in context too. Is there good 3d building information from google earth around that area? worth a shot to try and import some of those google earth buildings in there. Looking forward to updates.
