RTurner
Is this normal? Our IT dept is scratching its head.....OSX shows 4gigs. WinXP shows 2gigs in "my computer" and task manager. Has anyone else experienced this?
BrianKitts
32bit, windows tops out @ 2 gigs.... unless you use the 3gig switch. You'll have to switch to 64bit windows to get full advantage of your ram.
RTurner
I am using the switch (so they have told me) Shouldnt it at least show the Ram installed? Here is CPU-Z's finding....why are these contradictory????Why does CPU-Z recognize the Ram and XP doesnt? Why does windows suck so bad?
arqjuan
Why does windows suck so bad? Because is windows :D Seriously, don't install XP64 i read somewhere in CGTalk that the bootcamp drivers doesn't work with XP64 so you can have so much trouble, i don't know if Vista64 works well. Cheers JC
AJLynn
Vista64 has the same driver problems, plus all the Vista problems, plus all the Vista64 problems. XP64 might actually be the best bet.
