Geoffc
I added a bunch of vray lights, spheres, to my evening scene and they are producing a tiny dots/specs on the reflective materials: car paint, wood siding, aluminum/steel. I tried a closeup, eliminating the hdr lighting, and they still appear. I increased the subdivisions of the lights from 8-32 with no luck. I also tried changing the AA from mitchell to Lanczos. I'm using the standard IR-qmc duo for gi. the dots appeared with both a medium setting, and very low. So im guessing this is an easy fix that I'm misssing though. thx. Zdravko Barisic
did you try ti turn off "afect specular" in vr light settings? also in color maping rollout check on everything on the right side of panel (background is not needed, if you wish) .... But I must say that those dots at night scene give some reality and atmosphere

Geoffc
I did turn off affect specular, and I've tried a few diff AA settings. I've also tried Light Cache instead of IR and playing with subdivisions everywhere. Still lost.
