salf
I think its called VRLM. I wanna be able to move around a rendered image, for instance i have the render image of a bathroom, i wanna click on the picture and do a 360° turn around the picture with my mouse. How to do this type of work? WHats the software i need, or pluggins? Currently use AutoCAD and then 3d VIZ. Thanks, sorry for the newbie question. vizwhiz
hi There Salf, you can use VIZ to make a panoramic Image under Utilities (i Think) there is a button for Panoramic rendering in VIZ 3 (VIZ 3 is different that VIZ 4) This will create a 6 sided Image(s) that will be seamed together to produce a ".pan" file i Think that the Camera has to have a 60 degree angle of view set before you do the renderings **** let me know if This helps VRML allows free movement within the Image a Panoramic file allows you to turn 360 in it not sure what is the best VRML package to use hopefully someone else will have more Info on That **** Thanks Randy
tcorbett
VRML (Virtual Reality Markup Language) files can be produced directly from VIZ through the Export function. The *.WRL file can then be opened with a web-browser with a VRML plug-in installed. Parallel Graphics "Cortona" viewer (http://www.parallelgraphics.com) is available for free, and tends to be the most stable. Although I agree, what you've described sounds like a panoramic VR file, which VIZ/Max can also create.
