alfienoakes
Seems like an age since I last posted anything..! Well, I have been battling with LWF, and Vray 1.5 and all its physical stuff... cameras, sun, daylight, environment etc.. So, here is something that I used the Sun system / physical camera on.. but unfortunately it missed the LWF boat.. Still a bit of post to do, but, would welcome comments on any improvements that I don't know about in all singing / dancing Vray 1.5.. Q-Bix
Looks ok, Personally i would make the shadows a little softer. If you increase the Vray Sun 'Size Mulitiplier' it should do the trick.
innerdream
Looks washed out, I'd back off the intensity a bit.
alfienoakes
Cheers so far.. Daniel, I always thing that bright sunlight shadows, externally, generally maintain their intensity, for large objects anyway. If it were say, a window mullion, then that would become softer, the further away from the shadow casting object. Which bits do you think need to be softer..? Robert, It doesnt look too bad on my monitor.. It is quite a bright scene, but it certainly doesnt look washed out. It looks fairly contrasty.. I will have a look at it on some other monitors.. The brick does look a little washed out though.. Maybe I will have a tweak at that. The renders are very pastel.. innerdream
hi, It's a nice image. What I'm seeing is that your left wall and front wall are the same value and it is making the image look flat, also there is not much definition.shading to the surfaces of the building which is why it is looking washed out to me. I'm on a new Macbook.

luckysaqi
1st. never place the sun right behind the camera but also try to place the about about 45deg side from the camera angle and at the height of 60deg. it gives more contrasty results
