sketchy effect

Hello all,

 

I am needing to do a sketchy effect...similaer to something that Sketchup could put out. I came across this post on the VRAY forums and think that this is exactly what I need:

The only problem is it was posted 2 years ago with little on how the affect was made. I found out that it might have been done using this method:

But I have yet to see a concrete answer, and I can't seem to recreate this. Has anybody ever successfully made VRAY toon look sketchy?

Make a pencil sketch, either with a real pencil or software that can do it, of some hatching. That's a JPG file that you use with screen mapping instead of object mapping. Use VRayToon and Photoshop the graph paper.

 

Second one, the pencil plugin, no idea what he's on about but maybe it;s in the zip file...
