Need help the do a exterior night scene.

I have no problems doing interior shots using radiosity(i use IES files of all the light fittings), but I am having diffuculty with exterior night shot.

I currently use IE sky for the night ambient light but can't seem to get it to look rite.

Can someone help me?

this might get tricky -using skylight for evening shots- because you need to find the correct balance beetween the skylight and the artificial light inside the building.

 

personally, i start with making interior lights work well, and then I would add a bit of skylight only if this is really necessary.
