aldofarias82 Posted August 10, 2007 Author Share Posted August 10, 2007 you are totally right about the render time of the second pic (the first one took about an hour) this is why> i achieved almost the same result in less than two hours (displaced grass, those palms,also vray dirt i think slows things down) but before i went to sleep i decided to boost the adaptive qmc threshold and subdivs and see the diference , but i was surprised about the render time on the mourning. the other settings were standard irradiance map and qmc and exponential color mapping (light cache and reinhard in the first one) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
