Claudio Branch
I have always used the 3d snap function without much hassle, but now the function isn't working the way it normally does. I can still grab an object by a vertice or endpoint, but when I move it to snap with another vertice or endpoint it doesn't snap. It moves the object from its original location, but seems to offset it somewhat from the desired position. Have I perhaps unknowingly changed some setting? Anybody experienced this and know how to fix it?
theon
I have always used the 3d snap function Anybody experienced this and know how to fix it? 1. Right click the Snap Toggle button in the main toolbar at the top of the MAX window (...the button with the magnet icon as you know) >>>the Grid and Snap Settings window displays... 2. Click the (OPTIONS) button >>>the Grid and Snap Settings window changes and displays the snap options 3. Check this:[use axis constraint]...(translation subarea) >>>this setting will solve the problem;) Cheers from Greece:D
Zdravko Barisic
go here http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=4295676&postcount=557 and grab 2D/3D snap toggle, as far as I know it still needs to change by hand but with this script it automatuicaly changes 2/3D snap by your viewport (User/top left persp....) Any suggestions for that?
