PAWUK
Hi You have some scaling issues on the model, You might want to add a few more steps, try going down them in real life and you might want to check out your life insurance (assuming its the steps that are wrong and not the furniture out of scale). Agree on the wood flooring. Try and put more detail into the model, its the little things that can sell it to the eye. I use vray myself so cant comment on the lighting set up. Good try , keep it up. aldofarias82
Yeah, its looking good i agree about previous comments, but in my opinion you should try to play a bit with your light sources and shadows add some contrast to your scene. looking forward to see new images
linus karlsson
Thanks for the c&c! There will be much more details and models when this room is done. I have added 2 more steps to the stairs:) aldofarias82 now I have one omni which allmost only cast shadows, and a target direct which creates the sun thru the windows and the skyligth. How would you make the setup for a room? I'am not so competent on lighting this kind of scenes:)
aldofarias82
your setup seems right, just play with the miltipliers (lower a few) and add more omnis in diferent places (real lighning comes from everywhere) hope it helps
Andy Park
Good start, when I'm doing interior, i only use and mr direct light coming through the window, or try mr daylight system, use the preset MRDAYLIGHT as a starting point and then tweak from there. I rarely use an omni to light my daytime interiors as its not natural light. Each to their own though, try a few methods and see what suits your style.
