Hi

I am a bit stuck and was wondering if somone could help me out, I commissioned a photographer to go onsite to take Photographs for a Photomontage

I need to know the height the Images were taken at, I have been told that the height info is in the Metadata, The photographer is away on holiday and returns back after the deadline has passed, bugger!!

How does somone get to read the Metadata on a TIFF.

Kind Regards

Mark

we've been having an in house discussion from this thread..... you probably aren't going to find that info in the metadata unless the photographer actually keyed it in himself.

The metadata contains info such as shutterspeed, f-stop, filesize, etc... camera height isn't relevant to the image file... it would be like asking if the photographer was right or left handed.... it's not something the camera can measure.

That being said, I understand why you need to know for camera matching, but you'd be better off asking the photographer how tall he is, if he used a ladder in any shots, or making visual comparisons in the actual photograph.
