Dabbsy
Hi. This is my first post of my work in progess. Would really appreciate any advice you may have to offer. I am using Viz 8 and Vray 1.50 Thanks in advance Dabbsy
Andy Park
i like the building, the top steel trim seems to be the in thing for buildings in edinburgh. your surroindings need some work though, not much. get rid of the lamppost in the foreground. not sure if it's just me but the railings seem a bit thin. and finally one personal preference is for some clouds in my sky, but maybe thats because i'm from scotland and we dont see clear blue that often. LOL. Good work keep it up.
bigroo
I feel that the image is a bit too stark & burnt for me with a distinct lack of traffic & pedestrians for it to look real. Did I say GI? Keep it up though
neko
not bad for a first go.... aside from the other comments i would say you need more divisions / mullions in the glass entry. the windows to the left of the lobby on the brick wall look distorted as well. railings way to thin. any trees in the town ? Dabbsy
Thanks for all your suggestions. I have worked on the image today and have made a fair few ammendments. I will be populating once the surrounding area and buildings are complete. any constructive critique will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dabbsy
aaron-cds
looks good. look into the .255 method by lele - http://www.vrayelite.com/lele/leleTut.php it will save you a lot on rendering time and produce cleaner GI.
