Dave Buckley
what is the point in the vray demo, its clearly no use when you can't render and see its output capabilities or am i missing something? ok you can play with the features but surely the idea of a demo version is so you can see one's capabilities
Aaron2004
MMM? I've never used the demo before, but from what I hear it renders...just with a watermark. What are you experiencing?
chiquito
I believe the demo is use full to train yourself into seeing and trying the capabilities of the software package. If it was fully functional, it would be better, but for sure that the license wouldn´t be free and permanent. That way you can train and test Vray vs other renderers. I guess thats the point on having a demo thats not complete. Just for you to use and compare. I think you are not able to produce professional images out of the demo, If I had read the EULA correctly.
chiquito
sorry, I have used demo version, and had no watermark or size limitation that I know of.
Aaron2004
Are you talking 'Demo' or 'Free'?...Because the free version is fully functional...it's just really watered down.
chiquito
you are right. My mistake. FREE, not demo. I correct myself, I have used Vray Free, and really helps you get going with the capabilties of the full version.
ipxstudios
demo does not allow you to use V-ray materials. I think that's the big difference.
