ok, let's suppose i have a spline with a complex path. now i activate the renderable spline option, and assign a thickness to the spline, so i have something like a pipe or a cable. but now i want it to be thinner in a extreme and thicker in the other, i mean a constant change in thickness uniformly through all the spline.

what can i do?

any suggestions or ideas??

well, my idea was to AVOID loft...:) it's too complicated...what i had in mind was this modifier (i think) that i saw in a tutorial i can't find now...it used a graph to deform the object along the path, you could apply bezier control points, etc. i'm looking for it in the modifier drop down list and nothing...

Thats still loft with the instanced splines. :) Loft is pretty much straight forward.
