Guest nazcaLine Posted August 19, 2007 Share Posted August 19, 2007 ok, let's suppose i have a spline with a complex path. now i activate the renderable spline option, and assign a thickness to the spline, so i have something like a pipe or a cable. but now i want it to be thinner in a extreme and thicker in the other, i mean a constant change in thickness uniformly through all the spline. what can i do? any suggestions or ideas?? It let's you change the profile along the spline, so you can do not only a pipe that gets thinner in one end, but you can also make a rectangular section become circular. Very handy. Guest nazcaLine Posted August 20, 2007 Share Posted August 20, 2007 well, my idea was to AVOID loft... it's too complicated...what i had in mind was this modifier (i think) that i saw in a tutorial i can't find now...it used a graph to deform the object along the path, you could apply bezier control points, etc. i'm looking for it in the modifier drop down list and nothing...
