trino
i really like the way the glass looks on the third image, good job. Maybe the grey tiles look like plastic or something like that, i think the glossy is too much, but over all nice work.

Guest nazcaLine
i assume you're using the tile map to make the tiling. there's a parameter called "grout" (i think, i don't have max at hand) that is set to 0,5 for default. you can try with 0.2 for example, and change that parameter in the bump channel as well ( i assume you using the same tile map in the bump channel). i hope this helps. oh, and change the color, default is black. Tommy Burns
Nice work there!! I think the problem you are having with the grout is caused by changing how much rough you have in the Grout set up. Thats if you are using advanced Controls in Tile. Try changing it to 0 and it should print clean. Let me know if this works?
linus karlsson
http://www.linuskarlsson.se/bathroom/render16.png Okey heres a new rendering with the old coloring. Tommy it was the grout that had a speckle procedural so i removed that and it was fine!
Tommy Burns
Looking good now alright. I would stiil tone down the red and maybe add some more reflection. Also I would up the antialaising settings and fix the mapping around the skylight, good work!
ovzoc
Try to tweak your reflective glosiness and your materials a bit... It looks good but needs small retouchments in materials...

linus karlsson
I have made total new textures for the tiles in photoshop! And fixed some small mapping probs, but there's still many more to correct.. Plz post your feedback! www.linuskarlsson.se/badrum1.png www.linuskarlsson.se/badrum2.png
ovzoc
Nice overall improvement... I would prefer tweaking the light a bit cause the sink is not visible (dodged) and the bath may need a beveling so that can interact better with light.. Great progress ! Keep up ! shaneis
Getting there, Linus. You should turn the hairdryer around a bit so that the viewer ca clearly see that it is a hairdryer - at the moment, it just looks like a red tube with a black end. 90 degrees should be enough. Also, the towel has an artefact - looks like a comp. problem, but could be wrong. Tiles at the upper left of the mirror look to be warping in time/space. Straighten them up a bit. Design-wise, consider turning the vanity handles to horizontal and centered, make the mirrors frameless and add a chrome cap in each corner of the mirrors - like the ones on the shower screen (for continuity). Move the taps for the vanity basin so that they aren't sitting on the grout-lines (hot-tap is main offender). Wall tiles - you want to hav the "short" tile at the top, not the bottom, and I'd remove the skirting - detracts from the clean lines of the room. All in all, it's looking good. Lighting and materials are quite good. Hope I haven't been too picky. Regards, S.
