ACAD 2008 with XP 64?

Something I just noticed in the link:

Additional System Requirements for 64-bit AutoCAD

  • Windows XP Professional x64 Edition and Windows Vista 64-bit

Huh!? This has to be a mistake. No way I have to install XP and Vista in order to run ACAD.

Our office has a site license for ACAD. Do we need to buy an additional seat of ACAD specifically for 64 bit?

this "AND" is actually "OR"

If you have XP x64, you can freely install ACAD 2008, BUT x64 version, 32-bit DOES NOT work, you have to own ACAD 2008 x64, not regular x32 (but ACAD 2007 works fine on both 64/32)

If you reach some autodesk office you will get somewritten answer and that would be good for you

You mean it should be an "or". It actually does say "and". Your explanation clears it up perfectly for me, thanks. I wonder if the CAD gurus here at work realize this little nuance. I mean it's a fairly critical tidbit to consider when purchasing OS's and large numbers of ACAD seats.
