RyanSpaulding
Hey guys, What's the best way to extract the images from a video file? I got a corrupt disc and need to get the image files out of a video.
AJLynn
What type of video file? And do you also need to cope with not being able to read the file off the corrupt disc?
RyanSpaulding
It's an AVI file. No, the video is fine. What I lost are all rendered stills And my project file. How do 2 DVD's go corrupt???
JonRashid
If your using studio max, load the avi in the ram player and you can then save any frame out as still
AJLynn
I'm pretty sure VirtualDub and/or VirtualDubMod have the same functionality. You'll need to have the codec installed.

Jim Mann
How do 2 DVD's go corrupt??? Cheap DVD's? Something similar happened to me when I first started burning DVD's. I had been using using generic ones because they were cheaper - back when disks were about £5 a go. Stopped using cheap ones pretty quickly and haven't had a problem since.
