Transparent People

Hi,

 

I've heard of a program that will allow you to add white transparent people into your picture, this is a stand alone program, not a plugin. It allows you to define the angle of the sun so the shadows come out right.

 

I've googled till my eyes go crossed but I can't find a thing.

 

I know the program exists but I cant find it. Has anyone used or heard of this program??

it's like that but not by archvision.

cant you just use the alpha channel of your regular people as a texture? they will show white.

I know there are other ways to do this effect but i'm trying to find this one particular program as it makes it much easier and besides archvision rpc doesn't work with mental ray!

Have you tried exporting sketchups 2D sillhoutte people, and using them in max, and make material semi transparent.

 

Works file for me .

 

you can also download an extra set from the sketchup site once you have sketchup to open them with.

We use the trees too.
