sanjay_chaphekar
hi, There is one problem with vray i have encountered during rendering exteriors. If the room is not lit from inside, it is difficult to get the glass material working. And we have to deal with it in photoshop. Moreover for long we have been using lines with thickness for making window glasses. But vray requires solid box to simulate the same. I had posted this problem in finished work section but i did not get any response so i am posting it here. thanx, sanjay chaphekar
AlNe
Turn off refraction, increase reflection (falloff map or just Fresnel checkbox) and don`t forget about Enviroment map (for reflection).
chiquito
In adition to alexanders post, you could try a fresnel fall off on the refraction map, and give it a try. Another option could be to place a white reflecting plane behind the windows, with render unchecked in properties. you could use that reflection to light up your glass.
