Brink
Why is it that whenever I calculate radiosity that I can no longer select most of the elements in my model. It is getting very frustrating. Is there something I am doing wrong? Also is there a way to turn down the way colors of one material relfect onto the surface of anotherwhen it is shadow. IE my brick has a green hue when it is near the grass. A third thing. Does anyone have a good way of rendering a copper roof. Mine need alot of work
Alex Ryan Rubio
1. try resetting your solution first before making any adjustments to your model. in any case, you will have to do this and recalculate since your radiosity solution will have changed after changing your geometry, etc. 2. to control color bleeds, apply advanced lighting override (radiositiy override in viz) to your material and adjust the color bleed setting. hope this answers your question. ZepSOFD
Brink, For the copper use noise, or Blur has/had a free plug-in called Dirt that you could use with a composit or blend material that would work well. For color bleed reduce the saturation value of your bitmap/color first, if this doesn't reduce it to a natural level then use an override material. If you don't want to adjust the original bitmap, then apply an RGBtint to the bitmap. This will allow you to change the RGB and HSV values without losing original quality or increasing file storage needs. tom
