ralopez
Great start Lucho. Interesting with Artlantis render program. Very good and clean modeling from ArchiCad. I do not have all the points an Artlantis and how to better the lighting, so you can get some soft shadows and to light up the back corner a little. just a few points. Still a great start. PAWUK
It’s Coming on, don’t use artlantis myself that’s my MD's domain. Not to sure about the change in the floor its coming across very yellow and flat its also hard to make out the grain. And are those rugs under the table set and seating area The lighting may be just a touch to dark, it may help if you try and lighten up the area under the mezzanine
lucho
Hi , the newest work made was the furniture and the decoration of the dining area, thanks to Pawuk for your opinion, in fact i am going to work with the lights and shadows under the mezzanine. about the texture floor i have changed a bit the yellow tone, i will do some tests with other textures. The image is just a little brighter too. Thanks and see you.
lucho
Hi everybody!! The render has now a background and i been working with some textures like the carpet the stairs the paints at the mezzanine, and i enhaced the chair in the living room, well , what do you suggest?, the work is not complete. Cheers Lucho
PAWUK
Back ground fits in well with the overall look not to strong . The carpet weave looks abit to large try reducing your map size down. have you considered a hand rail comming of the wall, maybe a mix of the same wood as the stairs and chrome. The light coming thru the front window next to the camera is burning out the back of the chairs . Looking good ...keep it up
santiago
Hi Luis, I'm also from Arequipa. I work in a design-build company in Vancouver, Canada. Though I like keeping in touch with peruvians that work in 3D, especially people from Arequipa. Let's get in touch: san_tiago@hotmail.com

Xephir
Nice work, Lucho! Only the corner in the background seems to be to dark for me. Otherwise, it fit's to the rest. So far, good job. Go on.

PAWUK
Well, after a long time ago, here s one of the last renders generated, what do you thinK??, remember is Artlantis, not 3D max Just a few points on composition, would you have the 42" at the end of the unit away from the main seating area and the stereo unit looks out of proportion and on the seating area wouldnt it be more likely that the seating next to the window would more likely face the window so you could look out at the view. small stuff really but looking good. birdman67
Looking good! I would definately experiment with lowering the camera a bit, and the second floor mezzanine slab should be at least twice the current thickness.
jreben
I agree with PAWUK's comments and have a few crits... 1. Materials - I would love to see this with improvements to some of the materials/bitmaps. Especially the wood floor (try a falloff glossiness) and both carpets, and the sofa fabric. the red carpet seems way too bright for the dark corner it's in and with no direct light hitting it. The wood texture either needs better mapping or a higher res bitmap. The sofa material seems to need some uvw mapping work, or it's just too busy for the carpet beneath it. The near carpet just seems like a low resolution map. The shader for the urn is also quite nice looking. TV screen looks good and glass also looks great. 2. Lighting - For all of the intense sunlight coming in there, that dark corner in the back seems much too dark, maybe a gamma issue? This is picky, but i guess the sun's shadows could be a tad softer, IMO. There also seems to be sunlight coming from 2 directions? sorry if it's not, just looks like it at the concrete wall's notch. 3. The arrangement of the stuff on floor 1 seems odd, but maybe it's just the view... What is that black square in the concrete wall near bottom of stair? I like the can lights and love the fact that they are "off" for this sunny image. Nice job so far, good job with the BG and glass, too.
