sanjay_chaphekar
Hi, I have recently started working with vray. Things look fine when working with direct lights and standard cameras. But when we start working with physical camera and vray sun that's when the trouble starts. What i have understood till date is : With sun we have to handle height, ozone and turbidity With physical camera :f-number, shutter speed, film speed (iso), vignetting and white balance. Also color mapping comes into play and gamma correction is required. I have heard great chris saying that we should use darker materials with linear workflow. It can be achieved with colors but its difficult to achieve with texture mapped materials. with linear/ exponential mapping we get a grey coated views, and with HSV exponential we get burned out views. can someone suggest some typical valuse for above parameters to get a nice exterior scene. thanks in advance. regards, sanjay chaphekar
