ronll
You don't have to show or tell us that you have 108 item to render.... if accept the project, you have to do it quietly... unless you need helper in this forum to do it for you. I like the part where you felt the need to show us your blue lit-up computer. There used to be a saying from the old hot-rod days, "If it don't go, chrome it." Tommy L
Well done Ron, I like the work and I dont think I could have done that amaount in that time. I have about 9-10 productive hours in me a day, then Im toast. The work I do after 9-10 hours becomes unproductive, I find Im staring at a mug of tea for about ten minutes thinking about nothing.... So congrats! shame your thread went a little bit bitchy near the end...
rotten42
what can you do? the guy has issues.
Jeff Mottle
However, this is my home business after I finish my day job, so I would work from 8-5, visit with the family until 7:00 and then render each night to 1:00am. That was not easy to do for over 3 weeks. You get used to it. I've been doing that for about 6 years now. Although each year it's getting progressively harder to do. Nice work on the renders BTW. rotten42
Hey Jeff...that keyhole texture in my render is an old one from the SMED days.
Tim Nelson
Well that was incredibly smart. Hey if your hacking skills are as good as your rendering skills I don't think Jeff has much to be worried about.
AJLynn
Actually, I think that anybody reading this would have to agree that, if you look at it objectively, Jeff is in fact better than you. Congratulations, you have found out his big secret - he's Canadian.
ikinman
Well that was incredibly smart. Hey if your hacking skills are as good as your rendering skills I don't think Jeff has much to be worried about. This guy has rendering skills? He's acting more like one of my problem clients who suddenly realizes that he has to pay the invoice when the work is done. Oh, well. I remember the first day I discovered a Whois lookup. -Ian

shaneis
Yes, you missed it. Our friend added another personality to his disorder and had a few unsavoury words to say and made a couple of (empty) hacking threats while you where gone. His "valuable" comments have been removed...promptly too (Well done, real-Jeff!) I don't think we'll be seeing him much in the future, though I'm sure he'll be a topic of conversation at the next CGArchitect social event. Jeff Mottle
The user has been reported to his ISP, his web host (oops he forgot to hide that in his registration) and depsite masking his WHOIS info, GoDaddy was so kind as to confirm he is hosted with them. I expect he will feel the heat shortly. In case anyone wants to send our friend a message here's his URL: http://www.archl-3d-specialist.info/

AJLynn
"Bar hoping" is what you do when you can't actually go to a bar because you're 13.
Jeff Mottle
Keep your eyes out for him posting to other forums using my name. I have received several where he says he is posting using my name. I've already reported him to a few more places, but it looks like I will have to contact my lawyer on Monday to get a subpoena for his information from his host and pursue legal action against him. shaneis
Nice idea Jeff, swipe the slanderous cur! I honestly think he'd be unaware of what defamation is and why it's illegal...mate, he's about to climb one steep learning curve
AJLynn
Perhaps 13 was too generous. But I do think his grammar is actually improving.
shaneis
Maybe, it took him agood half an hour to figure he'd misspelt "programmer"...hence the edit to his post. Maybe his hacking mentor is helping him with spelling too!
