jophus14
I have never encounter a reflection like the one I have in the image that I have attached. I'm not sure why the reflection is curled. There is no bump on the material and it's just a standard glass material. Any ideas?
Chris Potts
Cool, I like that.
hughie
Hey that does look cool. Could be your IOR on the material, failing that did you make the object from a primitive or an extrusion?
jophus14
I think I found out why it was reflecting that way. The geometry was a chamfered box with 1 segment to give it a little bit of a bevel. For some reason it was making the whole geometry reflect the surrounding area weird. I'm about to re-render that section of the image and see it works. hughie: The IOR was at 1.52, which is a good setting for glass.
