Here's an interior of a room i'm working on, I cant figure out why my scene is coming out like this. Any ideas? I've attached my scene too. Ravendark Posted September 14, 2007 Share Posted September 14, 2007 I've just opened your file in Max 9, so not sure if that will mess things up but i think you need to check the scale of the drawing. I think the room is about 60 metres wide in the max file. Change your units to metric and scale everything down to the size they should be, this will help a lot with realistic lighting. Also, your daylight system is below the room which probably doesn't help. Having never worked with DGS materials before, i couldn't say if these are causing the problem. Try applying a simple standard grey material to everything and a transparent standard material to the windows. See what your render looks like now. I do remember that i avoided MR materials before i got max9 and the templates it includes! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
