sourabhb Posted September 14, 2007 Share Posted September 14, 2007 i am new to vray.....i was practicing some of the settings in my scene.... i rendered my first picture by assigning linear multiply under color mapping setting....but i got burn up arear in the roof near the window where i placed my vray light...... to avoid that i assigned exponential (thanks to cg architect...i was able to solve my burning problem:D ) to color mapping but lost the brightness of my scene:confused: ...plz.. plz hlp me out with wat setting can i retain brightness of my scene as well can avoid burning parts.. Stephen Thomas Posted September 14, 2007 Share Posted September 14, 2007 It looks like you are using a vray sphere light at your window, try a vray plane area light instead just inside the window with a multiplier of around 5.
