Rconce01
Hi there, As I look to enhance my 3d scenes I noticed that Vray and people and tress that are mapped via a diffuse map and a opacity map don’t work very smoothly. As a matter of fact it slows down render times. What’s out there that looks realistic that doesn’t cost and arm and a leg and works effectively with vray as far as people and trees? Craig Ramsay
You could take a look at Onyx trees: http://www.onyxtree.com/ For 3D people take a look here: http://www.lowpolygon3d.com/CCP6/index.php?app=ccp0&ns=catshow&ref=3D+model+people If you're working on still images then you could always add in 2D trees and people in photoshop. skana
check out EASYnat (http://www.bionatics.com)...very reasonable and extremely realistic when using the hi-res 3D models...convert them to proxies and you can insert thousands of them!
