sdds
hi all, this isn't an arch viz question... I have a friend in the jewellery industry who wishes to build his designs on computer to be sent for mass production etc. The only two bits of kit I could think of was solidworks and rhino (considering he wants 3d..there are other small bits of software for jewellery design but tbh not sure how reliable they would be. Any thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated. Simon:)
1eo
the one that comes to my mind right away is Rhino 3d too. leo
sdds
hi mate, yep thats what I thought.. had a skim through the rhino website and jewellery design is on there. I assume this wouldn't suit max modeling? I have max, c4d, autocad at my desposal but no rhino working knowledge...so can't really have a bash with his designs. oh btw I see no reason why autocad can't be used for the 2d drafting of jewellery, maybe along with illustrator or something..
