G Posted April 28, 2003 Share Posted April 28, 2003 Can anyone explain to me the following.im abit baffled. i want to create a multi\sub object material using two raytraced materials. how do i do this? when i select on a sample slot and then select multi\sub object i get a list of channels. now when i browse for a ratraced material in one of these channels, raytraced materials do not show up in the materials browser?? Sorry if this is basic viz knowledge. i am fumbling my way thru viz,even after a three day course. Thanks G Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Craig Ramsay Posted April 29, 2003 Share Posted April 29, 2003 Click on one of the slots in the sub object material that will open the properties for the selected material. Scroll down to the maps section of the parameters and click the "none" slot next to where it has refection (see image). G Posted April 29, 2003 Author Share Posted April 29, 2003 So let me get this straight. i set the colour i want in the diffuse colour section and go down to "none" in the reflection part of parameters,then select raytrace, And thats it?
