alias_marks
bummer, just came across this one and wish I had found it sooner. Don't know if was posted anywhere here before. The deadline is Oct 1. http://www.tdt3d.com/articles_viewer.php?art_id=96 This kinda makes me wonder, does anyone know a site that "collects" or aggregates a list of 3d competitions that are going on? I always feel like I stumble on them at the last minute and would like to do more if I could find out when they start ahead of time. Mike
jophus14
Good find. I second the thought of having a link or thread dedicated to upcoming or ongoing competitions.

alias_marks
I think the competition section of the Architecture Room is a good example of sharing contests that are going on. http://www.thearchitectureroom.com/ Scroll down about half way through the page It's nice to have a quick description of the competition and some details as opposed to deciphering 100's of search results. Good search though and I see that the tdt3d contest i posted is on the top of one of the second search you posted. also, what's this cg architectural books contest you reference? Spooner04
I would like to see a permanent thread on this issue as well. Does anyone know the general time frame or process to get on the autodesk reel? Don't forget the mother of them all. http://old.siggraph.org/s2008/submissions/
blowback
I agree. A permanent thread would be great. I said I wasn't going to do anything on the computer tonight.......I think I might be addicted.
