jinsley
In my experience, it seems that most firms develop sets of standards for their CAD work, etc... I have yet to see anything specifically directed towards Photoshop (or any post-production software). Is anyone aware of any literature or guidelines that are available? I know most people have their own work-flow developed that works for them, but processes like naming your layers properly, etc. could be regulated, could they not? Matt McDonald
We start from a standard size and resolution document which has our corporate logo and a standard title block. Because our rendering always include color elevations we use pre-defined layer sets for the elevations and notes (which are also consistent from rendering to rendering). Nothing is locked down and its not particularly sophisticated but consistency is pretty easily maintained with a "don't change anything" instruction.
