-overall needs more working in the GI illumination, it's too dark.

-the furniture needs a lot more detail and i think it's a bit over-sized.if you make the edges rounder that would help a lot.

-the glass is not very good.in vray you just make transparency color all white, reflection all white and check "fresnel effect".from then on you can start tweaking if neccesary.

-the wood on the floor has a very odd white stain. what's that??

and so on.

good luck.

The scale of all your textures needs fixing... make sure your UV's are correctly unwrapped - the footrest texture appears to be stretching

Timber flooring, wicker chair textures are too large, brick texture is too small (could also increase the bump for the bricks)

If your texture image files are small, you could try taking them into photoshop and creating some larger seamless textures, make some bump textures while you're there.

If you don't have photoshop, try "The Gimp"...it's free.

I agree with nazcaLine - the scale for all your objects is out. A good trick is to make a simple "human" shape and use it to eyeball the scale of your furniture. You also need to go over all your furniture and get some more detail in there, eg: on the footrest, you can see the edges of your poly cylinder.

Remember to post your revised images,

Still need to work on your materials, the wood on the chair and table looks very flat try finding some larger maps to work with . Also dont forget your bump maps the carpet in particular looks flat and out of focus

Also on the front edge of the glass table you have a very bright reflection , do you have a vray light effecting the table with effect specular still ticked.;
