Jeff Mottle
3DATS is requesting images for a unique gallery to appear in one of their soon to be released titles, 3ds Max 2008 Architectural Visualization, Beginner to Intermediate. To serve as an inspiration to new 3D artists, a unique type of gallery will be displayed in the book, showcasing some of the best 3D visualizations by some of the best in the industry as well as some of their first images created when they to were just starting out. In addition, the artists displaying their past and present work will provide readers their best piece of advice that helped them achieve the level of quality at which they now work. Anyone that would like to have their work displayed in the upcoming book are asked to submit one of their best 3D images and one image of their earliest 3D work created when first starting out. Images must be in JPG form with no less than 1200pixels in width or height. In addition, submitters must include advice to readers from 100 to 200 words in length. An example submission is shown in the attached image from the author, Brian Smith. PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR TWO IMAGES AND ADVICE to 3DAS directly at 3dinfo@3das.com

Brian Smith
Rather than posting the images and text here, which would be more work to collect, please send the images directly to 3dinfo@3das.com Thank you in advance!
Bwana Kahawa
This is probably a very silly question, but do the images have to be created in 3DS Max? Only, if it's a general gallery / advice section, then a lot of it should apply regardless of platform...
Brian Smith
i hadnt even thought of the possibility of other programs being included but thinking about it i dont see why not...would only makes sense to me since most people use other render engines besides mental ray. please send. nisus
Hi, Do the images have to be made in max2008? (which means only beta-testers could join) or any version of max? I assume MR is not a problem because it is part of max (in a way). rgds, nisus

If you live in Belgium you also have to pay a $10 tax for each image...just go to 3DAS and click make payment.
