salf
Ok, this happened in my home PC today, i just tried to open a MAX file, and this i saw this problem, theres no icons showing on the main bar. I was like WTF?!?!, then i rebooted my PC, hoping it was some random error, but when i launch VIZ again, this keeps happening, heres a pic: As you can see, theres no icons on the main bar, but they still working if i press them. Chances are someone has asked the question before. I didn't have an answer to your particular question, but I just found it in a previous thread in about 30 seconds. That might save you some time in the future.
