deevee84
is there a massive difference between using vray & finalRender oppose to using just the standard Advance Render that comes in C4D? are these plug ins or separate programs where you export your c4d model? sorry for the stupid questions:confused:
edub
well, the most obvious difference w/ Vray is that you can generate flicker-free GI animations. It is basically a much more advanced GI renderer than AR. I haven't used Finalrender, so can't comment too much, except that the quality looks similar to Vray. Both Vray and Finalrender are plugins - integrated into the C4D application. I suggest you check out the threads over at CGtalk, discussing exactly these questions: Vray vs. AR: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=176&t=539023 The initial Vray for C4D thread: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=176&t=349805 finalrender for OSX, C4D thread: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=47&t=544371
