need help in rendering workflow

hi everyone,

i need guide or some short tutorial about how to set up render region in vray to render only a part of scene for quick test, but i don't know how... i tried almost 100 times bud never get that...

 

please any help or tut?

Done through max, not vray. Check screenshot below, change view to region then hit render, adjust box which appears and click 'ok' at bottom right corner of viewport.

thanx... in hotspot it is always most darkly..

Since you're using Vray, most likely your output size under Max's common settings is different (as you usually want to keep this really small) from the one you set up in the Vray frame buffer. For some reason ( at least I've found this) they need to be the same when doing a region render.

There's a "use max settings" check box in the VFB for that..
