Macpod
Im using a Logitech VX Evo at the moment. the Stiff middle button is really pissing me off. I want a comfortable house with a sensitive middle button. Any suggestions? the original microsoft explorer was great, be great if they just rubberized it and made it mroe ergonomic. I would prefer cordless but if the mouse is great USB cord is as well.
AJLynn
Razer Krait. It's my new favorite. With its advanced controls set for max sensitivity, 1600dpi, and Windows acceleration turned down. And a good mouse pad.
Macpod
I've been looking at the razerbacks, those big textured buttons looks great. Have you used the diamond back model? I like the idea of having forward and backward buttons on my mouse. they also have a mousepad with a gel wrist pad. thanks for the suggestion
Ernest Burden III
The gel wristpad is a must. I use three button mice--real three buttons, not two with a scrollwheel, and they are getting hard to find. I'm down to my last two, and mice don't live long. The rest of my input-rodents are a RadioShack model with a big, wide, squishy plastic middle wheel that lights up (green!) when the mouse is happy. But I went back the S***Shack last week to buy some more, and they don't have them anymore. I've visited a few computer stores recently and only see two buttons plus a tiny wheel. For some reason, these are now called "three button" mices.
AJLynn
Of the Razers I've only used the Krait and Copperhead. The Copperhead is very twitchy but now that I've used the Krait at work for a while and become accustomed to it I'll go and try adjusting the Copperhead and see if I can get it to have a similar feel. lambros
I have tried many, but the microsoft natural wireless is really different. quite large and somehow hard to get used to it, but keeps the wrist straight, and it is relaxing to use after 10 hours or so
kainoa
I've given up on wired mice as I've had some good experience with my logitech and dell bluetooth devices. I also don't like mice that try to shape my hand for me, it only makes it ache. So for me, the smaller the better (but not too small). I've been looking at the new line from Kensington. I've never owned a Kensington mouse, but I tried their new line of flat-shaped mice at a local shop and they were really comfortable to me. DavidR
I have a Logitech G5 at home, and it's great in general, but sucks for Max because of the double-clicky mouse wheel, which makes ctrl-mouse wheel rotation really jumpy. I have a very basic Logitech LED mouse at work, and I'm totally happy with it (but I like the G5 for games).
